MSI MEG Vision X2 AI: A Desktop with a 3D Holographic Display

At Computex, MSI showed us a unique new design innovation for PC cases—holographic displays. Mostly ornamental, it involves a cylindrical structure along the front of the case, with a reflective screen taking up a semicircle. The reflective interaction between the screen and the cylinder produces a holographic effect. This is part of MSI's new MEG Vision X2 AI, a mid-tower sized gaming desktop powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 2 "Arrow Lake" desktop processors, and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50-series GPUs, with options going up to the 285K and RTX 5090. MSI designed this machine not just as a high-end gaming desktop, but also an AI development and inferencing platform leveraging the RTX 5090. The "Luckyclaw" avatar on the holographic display is an animated assistant, similar to Microsoft's Office Assistants from the 1990s. It can be tied to Openclaw. You can also deploy an NLI interface for voice based inputs and responses.
